Dark Horse Coins was founded in 2020 as a research and analysis group dedicated to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Dark Horse Coins is committed to providing content that anyone, no matter the level of experience, will be able to understand in order to make sound investment decisions within the financial markets -- in particular, the cryptocurrency market.
Dark Horse Coins started out as an idea to help newcomers identify projects in the blockchain industry that were often overlooked or overshadowed by other well-known projects such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP. There are plenty of undervalued yet ambitious projects in the crypto space. It didn’t take long to realize that many people were left not understanding exactly what each project was used for. After releasing some
preliminary reports, we decided to reduce the technical and scientific jargon and get back to the basics.
At Dark Horse Coins, our mission is to provide content that fosters sound decision making within the financial markets.
As always, the Dark Horse team encourages everyone to do their own research before making any investment decision.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Hi! I'm Eric White, the founder of Dark Horse Coins. Before becoming focused on Forex and cryptocurrencies, my investment journey began with me buying stock in Nvidia Corporation for $19 a share back in 2011. Not exactly taking investing seriously, I forgot about the stock and later returned to find it a few years later priced at over $180 per share. In that moment, I wanted to know everything about the markets. Nvidia was very popular during that time; however, Advanced Micro Devices was a similar company that was trading around $2.37. I decided to take a chance and it paid off. The stock increased to well over $50. I had a thing for looking for patterns, stocks, and other correlations that others may have dismissed.
In 2016, the opportunity came once again. I bought my first cryptocurrency, Litecoin, at the price of $4.76. Before buying, I had grossly ignored Bitcoin. I was made aware of Bitcoin back in 2008 and immediately thought that it was the dumbest idea ever. Why would I need digital money to buy goods online when PayPal (or even my debit card, for that matter) had already helped solve that problem? Not understanding anything about cryptocurrencies, I ignored it...and 8 years later, Bitcoin was getting media attention. That "dumb idea" was starting to gain mainstream traction. I began to look for other coins that were considered undervalued.
My mentality has always been that of a Dark Horse.
“A dark horse is a previously less known person or thing that emerges to prominence in a situation, especially in a competition involving multiple rivals, or a contestant that on paper should be unlikely to succeed but yet still might”
I created Dark Horse Coins to be a source of inspiration for those who are looking for a breakthrough in life. You know, that one event that sets everything right. Dark Horse Coins wants to be that inspiration that helps you believe in yourself and emerge to prominence.
